Mitsubishi Ecodan R290: what a unit-only listing leaves to the design
An outdoor unit is not a complete installed heating system. Here is the scope to establish around an Ecodan quotation.

“Unit only” is one of the most important phrases on a heat-pump product page. It tells you that the price should not be treated as a complete heating conversion. ClimateCart's PUZ-WZ50VAA Ecodan R290 listing uses that description deliberately.
Keep the product identity precise
Mitsubishi Electric has a dedicated Ecodan R290 range alongside other Ecodan equipment. Keep the full outdoor model code on your shortlist and ask for the matching manufacturer data, rather than apply a general Ecodan feature list to every product with that name. Mitsubishi Electric's R290 range.
Build a complete equipment schedule
Ask the installer to identify the indoor arrangement, hot-water cylinder where required, controls, circulation and any additional hydraulic components. Request a clear distinction between what arrives in the quoted equipment package and what the installer supplies separately. Neither should be inferred from the outdoor-unit photograph.
Build a complete work schedule too
The proposal should cover the base or supports, routes, electrical work, drainage, commissioning and handover. Existing radiator or pipework changes need to be explicit. If removing an old system or making good is excluded, establish who handles it and what it adds to the project.
Capacity is a design outcome
Do not pick a unit because its number resembles the output of the boiler being replaced. Ask for the calculated heat demand, the proposed flow temperature and the output under relevant design conditions. The installer should explain how those pieces fit together in your home.
A useful final comparison is a one-page schedule showing the whole Ecodan proposal next to a suitable Alpha or alternative system. Compare scope, support and design assumptions before comparing the bottom line.
We supply equipment and can discuss a separate fitting route. This guide is not a system design and does not turn the unit-only checkout into an installed order. Confirm the full proposal before committing to equipment.
